BFSU Ling-Lunch

BFSU Ling-Lunch is a student-run talk held at Beijing Foreign Studies University. It aims at promoting linguistics studies in China. BFSU Ling-Lunch is based at the National Research Center for Foreign Language Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University, which has been one of the most prestigious language research institutes in China.

 

The first BFSU Ling-Lunch will be held on May 15 (from 12:30 am to 01:45 pm). Any studies related to generative grammar, especially those that are under the Minimalist Program framework, are welcomed.

 

Abstracts should be submitted using the EasyAbs service of Linguist List or visiting http://linglunch.wix.com/linglunch#!call-for-papers/ccjp. Only electronic submissions through the links above will be considered. Abstracts should be anonymous and may not exceed 2 pages (A4size), including examples and references (embed examples within the text), with 2.54 cm (1 inch) margin on all four sides and should employ the font Times New Roman 12 pt. Submissions are limited to a maximum of one individual and one joint abstract per author.

 

Abstracts should be sent no later than April 23, Wednesday, 2014. Authors will be notified by April 30, Wednesday, 2014. Each speaker will be allotted 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes for discussion.
